KATIE ARNOLD

Executive Director

Katie Arnold has served as a Director and Manager of several businesses and artistic ventures since 2013, and has had non-profit administrative experience from 2021 to present day. Katie’s career path has naturally been driven toward philanthropic ventures; prior to becoming Executive Director of Hope House, Katie was a theatrical director of over a decade’s worth of shows, including directing and connecting with both adults and children on live and virtual stages. Katie also has worked in child development for a decade, most recently having completed her teaching credentials in Prince George’s County, MD in 2022. Katie specializes in bringing arts, humanities, and literacy into childhood development, all crucial factors that turn children into well-rounded, empathetic adults. Katie has developed literacy programs in two organizations prior to Hope House, as well as teaching theatre, directing shows live on stage and virtually (during the COVID-19 pandemic), and providing theatrical workshops on both the artistic and business sides of breaking into the theatre industry. When Katie found Hope House, she was immediately enthralled by the organization’s mission and outreach work, and has found a new sense of purpose working with families specifically affected by incarceration. Katie makes it her mission to help people become the best version of themselves by providing guidance, assistance, and aid wherever required. Katie is Hope House’s 2nd Executive Director, following Founder Carol Fennelly.
